Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury is proud to be a part of the Waterbury YouthBuild along with grant recipient Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board and other community partners: the Waterbury Police Activity League (PAL), Waterbury Public Schools Adult Education and IMTI - the Industrial Management and Training Institute.

What a wonderful collaboration of organizations, all working together to have an impact on the futures of Waterbury youth!

The first cohort of YouthBuild participants began at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury's workshop with Program Associate and instructor, Billy Dwyer on September 4th to help prepare them to go on our construction training site in the Fall. The second group of participants joined us on September 17th.

They hit the ground running as they each began building a scale model of a house. Congratulations to each and every one of them who have worked so hard to get here!

The YouthBuild participants have begun a scale model of the home they will be helping to build for a Habitat family.
