Habitat’s gone Quackers!

This spring the Naugatuck River was filled again with thousands of tiny rubber ducks, each representing a chance to win a variety of prizes. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury was one of many charitable organizations benefiting from this year’s Naugatuck Duck Race.

Members of our organization sold more than 150 rubber ducks and raised just under $1000. We
look forward to participating in next year’s event, and thank the Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce for continuing to support nonprofits through this annual event. For more information on the event, visit www.duckday.org.
